Owning almost 200 domains, I can honestly tell you. Domain trading or domaining as most of us in the business call it is one sure way of making money that transcends your location.

Whether you are in India, Nigeria, Australia Russia, US or UK. You got not problem , you can make this business work for you.

Domaining is so simple, it really looks ridiculous but then the ridiculous has been known to herald the miraculous. Enough Storytelling!

The Gist

Domaining works in a simple way. You register a domain name usually for less than $10, you then have the option of parking it or developing it into a site.

You can sell later directly to an end user or a fellow domainer who sees value in the name. That simple!

The Fact

Nothing good comes easy! Domaining is a patient biz. You don’t just rush into it expecting to resell instantly for hundreds of dollars [Though I have regged and sold names a couple of times before!].

You do your research. Find keywords that people are searching for, use google for this and then register the name.

Never register a name you can’t develop. I’m not saying develop all names. But I’m simply saying make sure your name has development potential.

My Experience

Now to be upfront with you guys; Domaining is not thriving as it was a couple of years ago when I entered the biz but it is still a great source of extra income for guys who know how to make things happen.

Just last week I still sold a couple of domains as a package for $275, all the domains cost me 35 dollars to register- that’s $240 pure profit.
